Meadway Travel was established in 1980 by two couples, Rosemary & Hans Granberg and Maurice & Kirsten Buck. Rosemary & Hans were silent partners, living in Auckland New Zealand with their small family, whilst Maurice & Kirsten were the real driving force behind Meadway Travel, building the business up to its present level of £3 million annual turnover.

Sadly, Hans died in 1990 but Rosemary has remained a director to this day. Both Maurice & Kirsten have now retired, having sold the business to a long-term employee, Alison Ashford, and her husband, Allan.
